Words of Wisdom

I was reading Lauren's blog and she wrote a commencement speech for her High school and it was such a fitting blog entry for me right now. Below is the part that really stuck with me:

"Here’s what I want you to hear from me tonight: if you wait until you’re not afraid, you’ll never accomplish what you want to in life.

Contrary to what it might feel like in the moment, fear is not a bad thing. The way I look at it, it’s your mind’s way of letting you know that you are putting something on the line. That you are taking a risk. That you are stepping outside of your comfort zone—and all of those things are vitally important if you’re looking to do anything big.

Fear does not mean that you are not ready. It does not mean that you’re not qualified. It does not mean that you’re risking too much. In fact, if you’re not at least a little bit afraid, it probably means that you’re not dreaming big enough. As the motivational speaker Les Brown put it, “Too many of us are not living our dreams because we’re living our fears."

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Father's Day!

Hey
I have been thinking about Lily and I was wondering what happened with her IMHA?
Could you stop by the IMHA thread that you created on Dogs.com and give us an update?
Thanks
GratefulDawg
