Lily Bird

Everyone that reads my blog probably knows that Lily Bird is sick. She was diagnosed with AIHA or IMHA. I found out on Saturday and it has been a rocky few days. She started her treatment last night and now we are just waiting and seeing what happens. Everyone has been really great in calling and checking on her and I really appreciate all of the support that everyone has been giving me. Greg has been especially great in making sure that I am ok, since my energy is put into making sure that Lily is ok. I have to check with the Dr. on Friday to see how she is progressing and she will go back and see him after Christmas to make sure that her red blood cell levels are rising.
