Once again, I had a wonderful weekend hanging out with Greg and the babies (dogs). Saturday Greg and I drove to Malibu and found a little beach that we had to rock climb/hike down to. It was beautiful. There was not much room on the beach to lay down because the beach was against a cliff and the water was coming up pretty close to the cliff. We had to jump up a couple of times so that the water didn't get our towels. There were also little sand fleas jumping all over the place. We thought that they were a little creepy, but were not that weirded out by them, now, while I was looking them up I found that they will bite humans ... I am glad I didn't know that at the beach! It was a nice relaxing time and we had some great talks down there!
I just have to say that Gregory is seriously soooo funny. This weekend he made me laugh so hard just by being his silly self. He was opera singing to Flock of Seagulls, parting his hair to the side to look like a nerd, and singing on his friends answering machine. He is just so funny and unique!! And that is part of the reason that I love him so much!! :)
After our exciting day at the beach, we went to see Tropic Thunder. I was not that interested in seeing it, but I thought that it was pretty funny! I thought that Tom Cruise was so great in the movie. I have never really seen him in a funny role and I thought that it was pretty funny!
We also did some gardening on Sunday. While we were in Santa Monica (for lunch and to return something Greg bought down there) we stumbled upon a little street fair that had some cool plants. This place had different flavor mint plants. The one that we liked the most was a lemon mint. It has such a great smell. We are getting such a great garden going. We have basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme, green bell peppers, jalapeƱos, lavender, lemon mint, and spearmint. There may be more, but I cannot think of them at the moment. We hope to expand it more as time goes by. Hopefully one day we can grow all of the veggies and herbs that we eat!!
Here is also a really cool site that I check out every Monday Morning.
